Celia just married myself and my now husband this past Saturday and I had to come review her right away. There is no other word to describe her than simply amazing! When it came to the part of choosing an officiant during the planning process I fully admit I thought to myself; all ceremonies are always the same, and I wasn’t exactly concerned with who we chose. However, once I found Celia, my views on this completely changed. I sent her an email and within minutes had a response and phone call set up to discuss our wedding. Within seconds of speaking to Celia I knew she was the person to marry us. She was throughly excited and interested in not just what we wanted our wedding ceremony to be, but in us as people and our story too, and I knew this was not going to be your typical ceremony. We had several conversations and she turned everything we spoke about into the most amazing story, and when i received the first rough draft of our ceremony script i was brought to tears. She welcomed us to make changes if we chose, but there was absolutely no need to. She chose the most perfect readings that truly reflected us as a couple. Our ceremony was personal, touching, unique, funny, heartfelt, and just utterly beautiful. She included how we met, our engagement story, and spoke about exactly the type of couple we are. She even mentioned our pet Charlie, which not only did we love, but our guests did as well. Right after the ceremony guests immediately began asking if we knew Celia all our lives because she made it so personal and truly “us”. I have even had some people reach out to me asking me to send them a copy of her words because they couldn’t get over how perfect it was. I thank you Celia from the bottom of my heart for giving us a dream ceremony. Also, thank you for making me realize the ceremony is the most important part of a wedding; I don’t think any other officiant than Celia could have done this for me.
