Anywhere you like! Here is a radical idea for your reception. Instead of making yourself crazy trying to put your guests into groups for the dining tables, why don’t you just reserve a few tables for your families and let everyone else sort themselves out. Chances are, they will sit with the people you’d have put them with anyway. Your families will have seating near the bridal party, and everyone else might just meet someone new.
When you do the layout for seating, you might want to add some extra seats so people can move around and so you two have places to perch during the evening.
